Enhanced video visitation is supported on home computers (desktops or laptops, Windows or Mac), some tablets (those running on Android or other operating systems, but not Apple’s iOS), and Android smartphones.
If using an Android smartphone or tablet, you can download these two apps from the Google Play store - GTL - Schedule Visits (1 of 2) and GTL - Internet Visits (2 of 2). You must download both apps in order to use enhanced video visitation on these devices.

Visitors ARE PROHIBITED from using the system while operating a vehicle. If this is observed, your visit will be automatically terminated with no refund and you will face a minimum twelve (12) month suspension from use of the system.
The visitor is responsible for registering with an account and scheduling the video visits.
Both visitors and offenders are required to follow the same rules that apply to contact visits. Failure to do so may result in termination of visit and loss of visitation privileges.
Visitor restrictions may apply to participate.
All visits are subject to monitoring and recording.

EFFECTIVE 7/16/2020: To allow for cleaning of video visitation stations between visits at the correctional facilities, a 10-minute window in between video visits has been implemented by the Virginia Department of Corrections (previously, there was a 5-minute window).
For video visits pre-scheduled for a 25-minute or 55-minute video visit, GTL will adjust the length of the visit and refund the difference to the visitor. The visit will begin at the scheduled time, but end 5 minutes earlier than the visitor initially scheduled.
